Arena Multimedia Bahadurabad branch trip to GEO Game Show:


Geo TV invited Arena Multimedia to its game show, “The Price is Right”, on the 19th of February 2010. Arena Bahadurabad and different branches participated in the event.

Mr.Z.H.Farooqi (Centre Manager) was leading Bahadurabad. The program recording went on for about 4 hours; from 1800 hrs to 2200 hrs.In the start of program Syed Mughis Qadri (Student of Bhd) sang a song Specially for Salman Ali.Ali Moula Moula Ali Damadum mast Qalander.

Geo TV sent their conveyance for the participants and they journeyed to their office in the SITE area. There were 48 participants from Arena Bahadurabad branch.

The game show was hosted by Salman Ali, and was recorded live with retakes and many more video editing. This way, the students were able to learn about video production techniques as well as enjoy the show. The show was an adaptation from the English game show of the same name. It had five parts, namely, Bid Round, the Bargain Bar, the Hi-Lo shelf, the Wheel round and the Showcase Showdown round.

Overall there were prizes worth approximately 3.5 million rupees to be given away. Mr. Shariq Rasheed of Bahadurabad’s branch won some gifts worth around 20-25000 Rupees, in the form of a Timex watch set, a metal body, glass top shelf and a Sunama/o? (THE MULTIPLE LAYER SHELF THING).

The gifts given out otherwise included products from Kenwood, Interwood, Service, and some more big names. These included a 4 door car, generator, inverter, a bed set, a mini-refrigerator, an air-conditioner, a wrist-watch set, counter chairs and centre table, Play Station, a coffee table, a motorbike, a fruit stand for kids, a Sunamo? And a vacuum cleaner.

A good and interactive show host, Salman Ali was able to involve the audience completely with himself and in the program. In the industry for over eight years, he seemed impressed by the student audience of Arena Multimedia Institute.

A source of good entertainment for the audience, it also exposed the students to stage show recording techniques and tricks, and made them realize even hosting a program isn’t all that easy.
